Thanksgiving movie 2023

Eli Roth is directing this movie, and it's due to come out November 17th, 2023. In case you can't tell from the title, it's a slasher movie set around Thanksgiving. A stranger named " John Carver" is in town to carve out his niche, if you will, and the turkey is only a sideline in this film. Patrick Dempsey and Addison Rae are starring.

I hope the film itself doesn't end up being a turkey.

Anyway, I'm surprised that it's taken this long for someone to come up with a slasher movie for this particular holiday. We have Halloween, April Fool's Day, Black Christmas, Silent Night Deadly Night, and assorted other movies. Does anyone know of any Turkey Day related horror movies?

I just happened to see a poster for this at the local theater Friday.

This film was good fun. Story was standard slashy stuff but the kills were done well.

I thought it had its moments. Its one of Eli's better movies but still has its problems in the writing. Id give it a 3/5. To me his best movie is the unrated cut version of Cabin Fever.
